PostDoc position (m/f/d) in Immunology

Institute for Systemic Inflammation Research (ISEF) – Director: Prof. Dr. med. Jörg Köhl

The Institute for Systemic Inflammation Research (ISEF) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Immunology. The position is available at the earliest possible date and will be limited until March 31, 2027.

Our laboratory investigates the biology of the complement system, with a particular focus on the multiple functions of the small cleavage fragments of C3 and C5 (C3a and C5a) in the networks of innate and adaptive inflammatory responses and in immunometabolism. This project focuses on the role of C3a and C5a as regulators of inflammatory responses and immunometabolism in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. We use state-of-the-art molecular, cellular, immunological, and transgenic approaches in a highly stimulating and international research environment.
